Our gardens flourish with the love and dedication of our volunteers.
Over more than 15 years, volunteers have put in over 50,000 hours of hard yakka!
Without the volunteers’ contributions, our beautiful garden would not exist.
There is always work to be done – think planting, weeding, seed collecting, watering, propagating and more.
It’s a great place to meet new people, to contribute to a community space or to get your hands in the soil if you don’t have a garden of your own.
As well as gardeners, we also need people who can build things, cook and prepare food, write articles and maintain machinery.
Get in touch, we'd love to meet you!
Come volunteer - Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings 8am til 12pm.
We appreciate donations of plants and seedlings, usable pots,
organic mulch, organic compost, etc.
as well as second hand books in the Goods Shed.
If you wish to contribute financially towards our community based projects and offerings, you can do so by:
- Giving us cash in person when you visit
- Sending a cheque (contact us for our mailing address)
- Direct transfer (contact us for details)
Please get in contact if you have something to offer.
To keep up to date with workshops, events, activities and more.
