In 2023, a beautiful new creative journey began for the the participants of the Happy Chat support group.
Each individual was able to explore through the medium of clay, in a collective work entitled Totems for Hope. In a journey of mindfulness and creative expression, the individuals were able to find their own path in the creation of their fired-clay artwork.
The Totems for Hope exhibition had it’s official gala opening in October 2023.
Happy Chat founder Kath Ives and co-organiser, artist and counsellor Jenni Gill were pleased by the support of the community who had observed the journey of Happy Chat’s participants.
You are welcome to explore the walk on your visit to the Whistle Stop Heritage and Community Garden. Follow the signs around the garden to view the individual artworks created or ask a volunteer to point you in the right direction.
